The squid is a carnivorous marine mollusk
with ten sucker-bearing arms. Among the most
highly developed invertebrates, the squid has
eyes very similar to that of the human.
Relatively sophisticated nervous and
ciculatory systems, and no shell. They prey
on FISH, which they catch in their tentacles.
When in danger they emit a cloud of ink from
a special sack. They range in size from
2in(5cm) to the 50ft(15.2m) giant squid.
The squid is the largest of all
invertebtates. Squid is a favourite food in
the Mediterranean region of the Orient.
